How does VARO hide a message in a photo?

VARO encrypts your message and embeds it into the photo's data in a way that's invisible to the eye. The picture still looks completely normal, but your verified contact's copy of VARO can read what's inside.

Do I need an account?

No. VARO doesn't require an account, email address, or phone number to start. You connect with a contact by verifying a short safety code together, once.

Can VARO — or anyone — read my messages?

No. Encryption and decryption happen entirely on your device. We don't run a messaging server and never receive your content or keys. Only the contact you've verified can unlock your message.

How do I send a protected photo?

Write your message, choose a photo, and VARO produces a protected image. You then share it through any app you like — Messages, email, a chat app. The hidden message travels inside the picture.

What is Super Safe Mode?

For your most sensitive messages, Super Safe Mode walks you through closing every open connection on your device (airplane mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) so nothing can sync while you work.

What does Premium include?

VARO is free to download and use. Premium unlocks unlimited secure tunnels, protected images without a limit, photo and file import, and earlier access to new security features. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select VARO, and choose Cancel. You'll keep Premium until the end of the current billing period.

I lost my phone — are my messages safe?

Your keys and content live only on your device, protected by your device's security (passcode / Face ID). Because nothing is stored in the cloud, there is no remote copy for anyone to access.
